Who we are

We’re John and Christina, a husband and wife who share a deep love for Jesus, animals, nature, and the beautiful world God created. After years of living in Ohio, we felt God leading us to a new chapter and made the move to Michigan, where we’ve found a deeper appreciation for the quiet, beauty, and simplicity of creation.

That journey inspired Graceful Pause—a place to slow down, breathe, reconnect with God, and explore what it means to live out our faith with grace and compassion. We believe that caring for creation includes showing kindness and compassion toward animals, and we hope to encourage others to consider how their faith can shape the way they care for all of God’s creatures.
